The day started off with Colin's eye still swollen, but it went down as the day went by. They headed to a park, where Colin spent most of the time in the swing (duh) and Kevin headed to the climbing area. Aunt Cathy called him a monkey, so he made monkey sounds most of the time. All was good until an older boy kept sneaking up
Day two started out the same, with Aunt Cathy taking the boys back to the park. On the way she mentioned that she needed some coffee since she was tired. Kevin told her "Why don't you go to Downtown Grandma's. She always has coffee there." It had rained on Monday night, however, and the park was wet. The first thing Colin did was splash his hands into the muddy water. He then walked after Kevin who told him "Don't touch me," while giving the stink eye. Kevin returned to his monkey ways, noises included, staying only on the park equipment that had not one drop of "dirty water" on it. (As he told Cathy, "You should have brought a towel.") They returned to the swings, where Aunt Cathy had to wipe off a couple drops of rain water that remained on one swing for Kevin, while Colin dumped the other
Since they had two great days, Aunt Cathy took them to McDonald's for lunch, where she had to return to the counter to buy more food since they kids ate all of hers, as well as theirs. She also bought them ice cream, which Colin jumped out of his seat to eat and got all over his face. As you can see, his eye is back to normal!
