Cake Hunt - Numbers 55-66

The week the boys were in zoo camp, we decided to try to get a picture of a cake at pick up. There were still plenty in and around Forest Park that we had not seen.

On Thursday, they were picked up at 3:00, and then dropped off at 6:30 to stay the night. So we had time to kill that day. Gwyn was at school and my cousins were helping me get my classroom ready. So on Thursday, we got the most.

Keep in mind that I encourage the kids to be creative with the picture, and we only get one shot! I only take one picture, so they make it good.

The Cheshire after zoo camp on Monday.

Jewel Box on Tuesday. It was still open, but only for a few minutes. The guy let us walk around for without paying the fee!

The Muny on Wednesday. Rachel was with me since she helped me set up my classroom that day. We had extra time to cake hunt before we picked up Gwyn from school.

While driving to the planetarium, we saw a cake at the Steinberg Skating Rink!

I loved all the science stuff on the cake at the

James S. McDonnell Planetarium.

Then we walked through the Science Center to get its cake on the other side of the highway. Another cool sciencey cake.

One last stop at the visitor's center for Forest Park Forever. We found a really cool park next to the center!

By Thursday, I had both Rachel and Emily from helping set up my room. And we had the most time since we were eating dinner nearby because we had to return the boys to the zoo at 6:30. So we headed to the area on the east side of Forest Park. This first cake is at the Central Institute for the Deaf.

I just parked nearby and we walked around. When we stopped for this cake, more people directed us to nearby cakes! This is for the Washing University School Of Medicine.

Next up - St. Louis College of Pharmacy.

Famous Footwear / Brown Shoe Company - We did dinner in Clayton, and stopped for one last cake on the way back to the zoo. Obviously, the giant shoe of shoes was more interesting than the 66th cake.
