We are now up to 75 cakes. I am loving this. I am learning so much about the St. Louis area!
This post is about a day with Aunt Cathy and Gwyn. The boys were at Camp KangaZoo, so the rest of us went on a cake hunt. (We were going to swim but it was too cold!)
I put most of the stories in the captions.

| At this point, we were killing time until the pool opened. So we went to the cake closest to my sister. This is Schlafly Bottleworks, a local brewery. |
| The Grove. This is a community known for its artists, LBGT advocacy, and cycling. This is when we realized that swimming was out. Gwyn was excited to get cakes without her brothers. At this point, she was hungry and had to use the restroom. |
| Since it was turning into a cake day, we went to where the cakes were. Grand had at least 4 cakes between the MetroLink stop and the veterans hospital. (Thanks, Dave!) The first cake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri. I love how Gwyn is looking at Aunt Cathy! |
| This is the Fabulous Fox Theatre. As we walked down Grand, we could just see 4 cakes! |
| I knew there was one at the Sheldon, so we detoured off Grand. |
| This is Powell Symphony Hall. Gwyn is already tired of walking. |
Thankfully we decided to look up the cakes in the area. There were 5 more! This is the
Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Nine Network - This is our local PBS! As we walked around, you could tell that others are doing this. People would direct us to other cakes without us even asking.
Centene Center for the Arts & Education - This cake was across the street from my car, and I am pretty confident that if we had not looked up the cakes on a map, I would have missed it. I even went back to put more money in the meter and still didn't see it. (There was a god park on the other side of the street so I say I was distracted.)
Saint Louis University - There are other pictures with all the words of the sign, but I like C and G in this one!
| Sweetology - Again, we almost missed it! We were heading back from lunch and I saw the store. I knew it was coming up and was looking for it. But the store is closed on Mondays. I couldn't see it inside when we looked through the windows, either. I told Cathy that most places keep them outside, and I turned to the street. There is was. Gwyn liked this cake. And that she had just eaten. |
| Side note - This is what Gwyn saw at lunch! She loved it. |
