We haven't had a weekend with the Kerr's in too long, so we were very excited that they all came in town last weekend. (
Here is the Kerr account of this trip.
Here and
here are the blogs of our last trip. My favorite is looking at the pictures of the kids a year ago!) They made it in Friday night. The sleeping arrangements were new, and surprisingly successful. Both Olive and Gwyn were in one room, and I don't know if they even acknowledged each other. No extras tears in that room. We put an extra bed int he boys room for Hannah, and I was kind of expecting them to end up in random beds. Hannah didn't really like the different room. They boys ended up in one bed (as they usually do) but Hannah stayed quietly in her bed. I think the boys were a bit much.
Since Megan loves flowers and parks, we took her to
Missouri Botanical Gardens. Megan had never been there, and I am pretty sure she liked it. (Sarcasm.) The gardens were hosting the Lantern Festival, so we got to see the display.
As pretty as they were, we all wanted to see them at night. Maybe another time, when we have a babysitter. The night ended with a lot of card games, and a few intense games or Qwirkle.
We always love to get the families together! Thankfully, so one threw up after this visit!

| Gwyn was so excited to have other girls to play with in the bath. Hannah and Olive are used to it, though. so I think they just saw her as something taking up room. |
 |
| Olive spent most of her time pushing the shopping cart or lawn mower. |
