Pappy obviously teaches them how to lick the batter. One day he taught Colin to use his whole hand to lick the batter, as opposed to only one finger. Here was the result.

Pappy's School of Culinary Arts
The boys stay with Pappy on Mondays and Tuesday. One of their favorite things to do with him is bake. It is always some kind of dessert, from cookies and pudding pie to bread pudding and brownies. I think that is so they can then eat it all later!
