Colin Helps Clean

He really wanted to help clean, but the vacuum is too loud for him. Here was daddy's solution:

Sneaky Snuggler

Last night Gwyn saw her blanket on the stairs. Since we have the stairs gated off (since she now tries to crawl up them) we thought she could not get her blanket. I turned down the hallway and saw her pulling it out from between the spindles. She then held it in her hand and sucked her thumb. (This is how she snuggles, with the blanket in the hand of the thumb she sucks. She still sucks both thumbs.)

Zoo Wild Lights

Last week we went with Pappy and Grandma to the zoo Wild Lights. They are open at night and have Christmas lights, dinner, and a LOT of desserts. It is one of our favorite family traditions. We have gone the last three years. Here are a few pictures, in no particular order.

Kevin and Colin in front of the penguins. (Colin was upset that he couldn't climb in the exhibit.)

Climbing on the rocks.

Gwyn was all snuggly and warm!

Kevin was so excited to hug the animals. Colin was terrified.

Eating some of the desserts. Kevin didn't want his picture taken.

I just really liked this tree.

Meeting Santa

This past weekend we took the kids to see Santa. Kevin did great and was ready to meet him, but Colin got scared and didn't want to sit on his lap. That means that this year's picture has our entire family in it, and not just the kids. I had to be in it since the only way Colin would sit near Santa was in my lap, so we figured we might as well have the entire family in it. Gwyn did just fine in daddy's arms. Those of you who remember might know that Colin doesn't have the best track record with Santa. (See the following pictures.)

Anyway, both boys had the chance to tell Santa what they would like for Christmas. Kevin actually made it toys, which was nice. You never know with that kid, since for Thanksgiving he said he was thankful for trees since they give us oxygen, and for soil for giving our food nutrients. We (obviously) couldn't get a picture with all of us, but here are the boys talking to Santa.

We found Gwyn's winter hat!

We found this hat at Target. It is for 12-18 month boys, but I don't care. That just means she can wear it next winter too! Every time I put it on her she smiles!
