Snuggling Kids

Sunday night we had snow and ice. (No school Monday!) However, Gwyn hears the snow trucks come through in the middle of the night. And think about that sound - it is scary for a little girl!

With all the storms and snow we have had this winter, this is not the first time we were awoken by a scared little girl. So I did what what best (and by best I mean what got me the most sleep) and put her in her brothers room. So when she woke up lat night crying, she was happy to go sleep with them.

(She has asked to sleep on days without snow, and so far she listens! I kind of picture it being what happened when I was little. On scary nights I would sneak into my sisters room and she would wake up and I would be there!)

I am not sure Gwyn can be as under-the-radar as I was. She used to be fine sleeping at their feet. But this past Sunday she had to be sleeping with them. And since they still share a bed, it was crowded. Luckily, they are all still little enough to fit, but I can't imagine it working like this for long.

Anyway, it was so cute, I had to get a picture. I used my iPod for light, so this is the best I could get. But I still think it is precious.
