Colin Update

Colin had his two-year check up last week. He is doing great. He weighed 27 pounds and is 37 1/2 inches tall, which is an inch taller than Kevin was at 2. (For those who don't know, your adult height is predicted to be double your height at age two.) Kevin is predicted to be 6'1" and Colin is predicted to be 6'3". They obviously don't get that from my side of the family.

The doctor asked if he knew six words. I wasn't sure if he was serious! Then he asked if Colin knew 50 words, which he obviously does. I am so proud of him! According to his teachers at school, he talks all the time, which I believe. He doesn't talk as much as Kevin at home, but I think that is because Kevin doesn't stop talking to give him a chance. One of my favorite things that Colin says is when he labels his knees. He calls his elbows "elbows" which he then follows up with "Two elbows!" and points to "My elbows!" and "Your elbows." Then he points to his knees and says "Knee elbows! Two knee elbows!"
